Should st mary's fundraise for a pool?
I think that St Mary's should fundraise for a pool so we can cool down in the summer. Don't you think we need a pool? I will explain that we can't cool down in the summer, why we should have swimming lessons and that we have to walk through an oozy swamp to go to Enterprise. This is why we should fundraise for a school pool and you can not argue with the fact that we need one.
The first reason why we should have a school pool is because it gets so hot in the summer and there is no way to cool down. As evidence all of the kids run around on the playground and get so hot. There is no doubt about it that we need to cool down.
Secondly, we should have a school pool for swimming lessons for the little kids as well as water safety which is very important. As our region is Gisborne we are surrounded by water and if a little kid or even an adult falls into one of our rivers and doesn't know how to swim they could drown. They could drift off through the water and they might not get out, so we should definitely know and learn how to swim.
Lastly I think St Mary’s should have a school pool because to get to Enterprise swimming pool we have to walk through a stinky, muddy, oozy swamp which is very gross and it's sort of a long walk to get to Enterprise. The amount of time it takes to get to Enterprise is about 4-5 minutes to get there which takes more time out of swimming lessons and the fun out of swimming.
Through this piece of writing I have shared three reasons why we can't cool down in the summer, why we should have swimming lessons and why we have to walk through an oozy swamp to go to Enterprise.

Jorjas birthday party
Broom broom! My mum's car turned up at the gymnasium for Jorja’s Birthday party. Jorja and I where so excited. at the same time straight away we said “let's go inside”. Then we ran inside took off our shoes and slipped them in the cubby holes. Soon after we went straight onto the equipment. First we went on a swinging bar. Once you have had a couple of swings you would jump off and land on a big fat mat. Soon lots of people turn up like Charlotte, the twins, Manvi and more people came. Soon after it was time for lunch. For lunch had lots of food. A little while later we played hide and seek for an hour and a half, on the last round you would not believe where I hid. “Ruby where are you” said Manvi and Cody.” I think I won I whispered to myself silently. Then I crawled out from my hiding spot.
