Senior Swimming Sports
“Ready to do some racing” I said to Morgan cheerfully. It was the year 6s race. We stepped up onto the silver block. BEEP! The whistle went off. I saw the crystle clear blue water as I dove in. I could hear 2 other people diving in as I dove in. I was coming second. I touched the wall I came second and I was so happy. When I got out I was wet and cold but I was in the 25mr free final I came second in that too. After that I had 4 other races: Butterfly, Butterfly final, breaststroke and breaststroke final. Then I was in the 50 meter freestyle and also in the freestyle final that was hard because my legs and arms were sore. I came second in that too. After that Mrs Tamatea told me, Morgan and Ciara to do the relay for yellow house. Ciara started us off then I caught us up then Morgan won for yellow house.

Sea Week
This week My class was learning about sea week because that was our reading activity for this week.
I enjoyed watching the video and learning about turtles because the video had lots of interesting facts about turtles. I found choosing what Images to use because they were all so good to use.
next time I would add some more facts because I only had a little amount of facts.
Waste Free Wednesday
Our class has been learning about the plastic and what it has been doing to our ocean because every Wednesday we have waste free Wednesday which is when Saint Mary's is meant to bring any plastic and if you don't bring plastic then you get a blessing bead for your house colours.
I enjoyed picking the coral, fish and the turtle for my images because you got to pick the images that you wanted.I found finding the plastic hard because there was not much plastic png images that looked good on my poster but at least I found some. Next time I would change my background to like a tropical water background because I thought that it would look a bit better and that coral and turtles live in tropical water.
40 Days Of Lent
My class was learning about the 40 acts of kindness during lent.
I enjoyed taking the picture with my friend Jorja because Jorja was in it with me.
I found making and putting the legs where I want them challenging because I had to find the correct color and the shoes.
Next time I would change the photo because me and Jorja did not have our legs in the photo
