Teeth
One icy cool morning the crystal clear blue water in the lake was flowing while the sun was shining with the morning light. The mountains curved in on the lake like a canyon in the desert. A little brown old dingy floated on the great big lake. Two men were in the dingy fishing for there family who do not have much money.

Morena Ruby, you have included a range of descriptive language to describe the setting, ka pai. I especially enjoyed your simile 'like a canyon in the desert', it paints a clear image in the reader's mind. Next time it would be even better if you used specific adjectives and not too many adjective in a row. Ma te wa, Miss Hickling.
