Enviro day
On Thursday, my school had an enviro day. We had an enviro day because we were going for our silver so each of the classrooms got tested to try and go for our silver. We had a welcome for Kauri and her friend Kirsty. Some of the songs were Kawaita, Hallelujah and some other songs they were like harmony to my ears. The boys did the haka. After the welcome we went back to class and did arts and crafts for the whole day. We had to bring in single use plastic and other things we did not need like disks, egg cartons and more stuff. What I made was a plastic bottle vase that I put my board bean into. My plastic bottle vase was sort of shaped like puppycorn and my friend Mya’s was shaped and painted like unikitty. Once you finish your bottle vase then you need to put fresh soil, make a little hole in the middle of the soil then put your board bean in the hole and cover the board bean with some more cold like soil. Then after lunch we made maori kites. We made the kites out of Toi Toi I only made my kite halfway through because we had to stop and pack up. I took my bottle vase home. Then we got green gold. The next day I was not at school so I could not finish my kite which was a bit sad but at least I could water my board bean and let it grow.
