ANZAC Poppy creation

Today at home I made a poppy flower for ANZAC day.
My poppy has 6 petals and 1 really long stalk.
The reason why I made my poppy really big is because on ANZAC day
I am going to stick it up on the street light post with sticky tape so that
when people go by either walking or driving they can see it.
It only took me about 30 minutes to make my poppy and I am really
proud of myself because it actually looks really good.

  1. Morena Ruby, I am blown away at your thought and creativeness. This is such a beautiful idea and I'm sure the people who see it will smile and remember what it represents. What sort of paper/cardboard did you use? And did you paint it? You have used some great detail. Ma te wa, Miss Hickling.

  2. Kia Ora Ruby,
What a fabulous idea! I like how you have added a photo to your blog. Maybe you could blog a photo of it when it’s on the street light post also? Thank you for sharing.
